CINCINNATI — University of Cincinnati quarterback Desmond Ridder plans to return to UC for his final season, Cincinnati Football announced Friday.
As AAC Offensive Player of the Year, Ridder led Cincinnati to an American Athletic Conference title and an undefeated regular 2020 season. Georgia handed Cincinnati its only loss of the season with a dramatic 24-21 victory in the Peach Bowl.

"Despite the obstacles and the ups and downs, this past season turned into everything we dreamed of," said Ridder in a video tweeted by Cincinnati Football. "But there is still unfinished business. I'll be back in the red and black this season."
The 6-foot-4, 215 pound quarterback from Louisville finished the 2020 season with 31 total touchdowns and threw for 2,296 yards.
