CINCINNATI — Two Tri-State organizations are partnering on Friday to help victims of severe storms and flooding recover from the damage and losses they have encountered and are asking for your help.

Pathways to Home, a 501(c)(3) organization based in Harrison, Ohio, are actively supporting flood and storm cleanup efforts and providing meals to people in need throughout the Harrison community. Pathways to Home is collaborating with Collinaide, a community outreach initiative, for a supply drive to help people living in Connersville, Indiana, another community hard-hit by the storms.

The groups hope to fill a supply truck for Connersville residents on Friday afternoon.

Here's how you can help

The groups are asking for supplies for flood victims. Drop them off from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday at the iStorage Self Storage facility, located at 5418 North Bend Road in Cincinnati. A U-Haul truck will be there to be filled with donations.

The most-needed items for storm victims include diapers, baby wipes, nonperishable foods including canned goods, protein bars and peanut butter, baby formula, cleaning supplies including trash bags, paper towels and rags, hygiene products including soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes and hand sanitizer, and new socks and undergarments.

If you aren't able to drop off supplies in person, you can donate below or by simply texting WCPO9GIVES or 50155. The Scripps Howard Fund will match the first $1,000 donated, so your gift can have twice the impact to help those in need.

This campaign is a WCPO 9 initiative in collaboration with the Scripps Howard Fund, a 501(c)(3) organization. Contributions to this campaign will be used to support the Greater Cincinnati area and are tax deductible.
