CINCINNATI — Camp Washington Chili is closed until further notice after a car recently crashed into the building.
The more than 80-year-old chili restaurant said on social media that the closure is due to recent damage to the building, specifically pointing out impacts to the drive-through area. The owner of Camp Washington Chili told WCPO that a recent car crash damaged the building's wall.
"We are hopeful that this will be a short-term closure and that we’ll be able to welcome everyone back through our doors as soon as possible," Camp Washington Chili wrote on social media. "Our team is already working through the necessary next steps, and we appreciate your patience and understanding while we make sure everything is safe and ready for our customers and staff."

Photos taken by WCPO show part of the Camp Washington Chili building’s side is boarded up.
