PIERCE TOWNSHIP, Ohio — Many local departments are taking to social media to offer up prayers for Det. Bill Brewer, who was shot and killed in Pierce Township Saturday night and Lt. Nick DeRose, who was injured in the same incident.

The Clermont County Sheriff's Office identified Wade Edward Winn, 23, as a suspect in Det. Brewer's death.
