Boone County America 250 Celebration
Boone County, Kentucky, is holding its 250th anniversary celebration with live music, a fishing derby, kids' games and activities, exhibitions, food, community and vendor booths and a fireworks show.

Let Freedom BOOM!
Trenton's America 250 Celebration, Let Freedom BOOM!, includes a patriotic parade, historical and vendor booths, food trucks, a live nighttime performance by country music star and U.S. Army veteran Jason Michael Carroll and a fireworks finale.

Oxford Freedom Festival
Oxford goes all out for America's 250th birthday with its Oxford Parks and Recreation Department's Freedom Festival with live music, games and inflatables, carriage rides, face painting, food and drink trucks, a beer garden and vendors.

Middletown July 3rd Fireworks + Festival
Spend the night before America's 250th birthday celebrating the big milestone in Middleton. The community's celebration kicks off at 4 p.m. on July 3 at Smith Park, located at Tytus Avenue.

Red, White & KaBOOM
The city of Fairfield will hold its July 4th celebration, Red, White & KaBOOM! on the night before Independence Day from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Harbin Park, located at 1300 Hunter Road.

The evening will include food trucks, fun and live music.

Declarative Acts and Revolutionary Actors
The Cincinnati Museum Center will feature objects that fueled the revolution and unsung heroes who made independence possible.

Red, White & Boom!
Red, White & Boom! with the Cincinnati Pops' annual July 4 celebration. This year, the Pops and conductor John Morris Russell, welcome Broadway star Mandy Gonzalez from "Hamilton," "In the Heights" and "Wicked" and members of the United States Army for a star-spangled evening honoring our nation’s rich musical heritage and the service of veterans and active-duty military.
For this special celebration of America at 250, tickets are just $10 and all active and retired military members are FREE. Plus, $5 of every ticket purchased will be donated to the Cincinnati Chapter of Disabled American Veterans.

Hamilton 4th of July Celebration
The city of Hamilton is putting on a daylong Independence Day celebration to mark America's 250th birthday. A parade, complete with floats, marching bands and community groups, kicks off at 10 a.m. at the Butler County Fairgrounds. From 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. visitors can explore historical sites. Starting at 6 p.m., one of the largest free RiversEdge concerts of the year begins at Marcum Park, with food trucks on hand to feed the whole family. That's followed by the city's annual fireworks show, wrapping things up at 10 p.m.

In honor of America 250, the city will open a time capsule that was sealed in 1976 for America's 200th birthday.

Liberty Township 4th of July Parade
Liberty Township will celebrate America's 250th birthday with its 4th of July parade starting at 9 a.m. on Independence Day.

It begins at Lakota East High School, located at 8840 Lakota Lane, and end at Liberty Junior School.

Light Up the Sky Monroe
Monroe will celebrate America's 250th birthday with its annual "Light Up the Sky" event at Monroe Community Park on Old Street.

It begins at 5 p.m. with live music, tethered balloon rides, food and drinks and kids' crafts. It ends with Fourth of July fireworks!

'Fire in the Night Season: The Trial of Philip Partridge'
Highland County's America 250 Celebration kicks off with a one-night-only play about County Engineer Philip Partridge who stood trial for burning down the Lincoln School in Hillsboro. On July 5, 1954, the overnight fire that destroyed the school, which came in the wake of the Brown v. Board of Education ruling, forced the integration of Lincoln's Black students into the two nearby schools that had formally served only white students.

The play tells the Hollsboro story through Partridge's trial. The performance begins at 7 p.m. at the Edwards K. Daniels Auditorium at Southern State Community College. Admission is free.

Highland County America 250 Celebration
Highland County will celebrate the nation's sesquicentennial with a day of activities for families and history lovers. Events begin at 10 a.m. with the opening of the Farmers Market at the courthouse square and Pioneer Day exhibits and museum openings. Food trucks will also open in the area and visitors will be able to tour the Highland County Courthouse which, the oldest working courthouse in continuous use in the state.

Tours will give visitors a taste of the county's rich history in Leesburg, Greenfield, Lynchburg and Hillsboro over the course of the day.

Then at 6 p.m., a new Revolutionary War Memorial will be unveiled on the courthouse grounds in Hillsboro, followed by a recreation of the Hillsboro Military Band, which delighted audiences in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

The Cincinnati Public Library is hosting rotating America 250 exhibits throughout the year at its downtown location and 41 branches across Hamilton County.
