CINCINNATI — Born premature, Fiona the adorable hippo was a sort of underdog in her fight for survival. Now she has picked the underdog to win the Super Bowl.
Despite the odds in Las Vegas favoring the New England Patriots, Fiona chose the Los Angeles Rams as the team she thinks will win Super Bowl 53, the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden announced Thursday.
Say what you will about a hippo's ability to predict the outcome of a football game, but she was right about the Eagles last year. Of course, maybe she just prefers teams named after fellow animals. Or it could be she just doesn't like the Pats.
