Reds infielder Matt Davidson has tested positive for COVID-19, the team announced Saturday.
The Reds’ announcement did not include any information about when Davidson was tested or whether other Reds players and workers would need to be quarantined.
Davidson had been on the field fewer than 24 hours before during the Reds’ Opening Day game against the Detroit Tigers.
