Joe Patterson was working with compressed air cylinders at the Paint Creek Joint EMS & Fire District station Sunday when he died from blunt force trauma to the head, according to the Montgomery County Coroner.

Patterson’s visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Southeastern High School in Chillicothe, Ohio. Local fire departments will give Patterson full honors at his burial at 1 p.m. Friday at Londonderry Cemetery.
