FAIRFIELD, Ohio – A family wants to help catch the person who hit their daughter with a car and drove off.

Martina Rios, 16, was walking home after being dropped off by the bus. She had the right-of-way at the intersection of Winton and Resor roads and was crossing when a drive in a silver Mercedes hit her and kept going.

Rios was left injured and bleeding in the street.

"It hit me on the hip and I fell to the ground," she said.

The whole thing has left her father, Mike Kreimer, very upset.

"I'd like to see the guy get caught, of course," Kreimer told WCPO. "We were in the emergency room for probably 10 hours or longer... thank God nothing was broken, no permanent damage."

As for Rios, she’s hoping someone steps forward and does the right thing.

The family is asking that anyone with information call Crimestoppers at 513-352-3040.
