CINCINNATI — Cincinnati police arrested a man Tuesday in connection with a West End double shooting that left a 24-year-old dead in February.

Police said first responders found two people shot at the 600 block of Wade Street and transported them both to UC Medical Center. One of the victims, Mister M. Williams, died of his injuries on Feb. 17.

One victim ran into a stranger's car for help, police said. Family members ran to the scene to check on loved ones while a nearby day care went into lockdown and the shooter fled the scene. At the time, police said the shooting, which happened near Taft High School, was not random.
