CINCINNATI — One person is dead after a shooting in Mount Airy Monday night, Cincinnati police said.
At approximately 7:30 p.m. officers responded to a report of a person shot in the 5400 block of Kirby Avenue.
Upon arrival, police found a man with gunshot wound inside the residence. Cincinnati firefighters on scene attempted life-saving measures, but he died at the scene, police said.
Cincinnati police have identified the deceased as 27-year-old Sylvester Lawson III.
Police have not yet identified any suspects in this shooting.
