Liquidation sale for Millennium Hotel to begin Friday

CINCINNATI — Items inside the Millennium Hotel will go up for sale on Friday before the building is demolished.

The public sale will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at 150 W. Fifth St.

Items up for sale include:

  • 800 Samsung flat screen TVs
  • Items in restaurants and lounges
  • Commercial kitchen equipment
  • 1000s of stack chairs, banquet tables
  • Commercial laundry equipment
  • Office furniture
  • Architectural fixtures
  • Crystal ballroom chandeliers
  • Grand pianos
  • Carpet and drapes
  • Artwork
  • Dance flooring
  • Walk-in refrigeration
  • Kitchenware

The sale will continue until everything is sold. Sale hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday. There is a $2 admission fee at the door.

All items will be priced by the piece and will be sold on a first come, first serve basis until sold out.

Last summer, a local developer reached a deal with the Millennium's owner to buy the property and transfer the contract to The Port.

The Port then agreed to buy it in October.

Millennium management closed the hotel on New Year's Eve.
