CINCINNATI -- Police have arrested and charged two suspects in the deaths of two men outside a College Hill bar last month.
Authorities charged Jonathan Patton, 30, and Maurice Searcy, 28, with murder in the deaths of 28-year-old Steven Anderson Jr. and 29-year-old Nathaniel Davis.
An early morning bar fight on Sept. 23 spilled outside the Rustic Tavern. Once outside, someone pulled a gun and shot and killed Anderson and Davis, who were in the other group, police said.
Both victims died at the scene.
Patton’s attorney told a judge Tuesday that Patton was outside the bar that night, but he did not shoot the men. The judge issued Patton a $300,000 bond.
A judge on Wednesday issued Searcy a $500,000 bond.
Both suspects are being held at the Hamilton County Justice Center.
