CINCINNATI -- A Hamilton County grand jury indicted an 18-year-old North College Hill man Thursday on two charges after police said he recorded video of himself having sex with a 14-year-old girl without her knowledge and shared it with others.
Jeremiah Horton is facing two counts of pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor, according to court records. Police said they expect him to face more charges.
"They committed a sex act and he videotaped the sex act on either a phone or a tablet, and then he shared that video with others," Officer Jay Manning said.
North College Hill police became aware of an obscene video circulating through the local high school in October, showing Horton and the underage girl having sex.
When police looked through Horton's phone, they said they found several similar videos with different victims. They have identified three victims so far, but believe there could be as many as 23 total.
Officials said the school has since collaborated with police to educate students about the gravity of these allegations.
"They're working daily, weekly, by the minute to try to educate students about how serious this is," Manning said.
The investigation is ongoing as police continue to interview possible victims.
