Today is Leap Day, something that happens every four years during a "leap year" and gives us all an extra day to enjoy life.

Leap years come with good and bad news: If you are a salaried worker, you are technically working today for free.  But if you are renting an apartment, you are getting today's rent free.

That's all debatable, of course. But what is not debatable is that there are some good deals today, especially if today is your birthday.

Deals for People with Leap Day Birthdays

Pizza Hut will give you a free Personal Pan Pizza if you show a government ID or license showing that today is your birthday.

McAlister's Deli has a free cookie if your birthday is today.

Izzy's Cincinnati delis has $4 off Reuben sandwiches.

The Olive Garden will give a free dessert to anyone with a birthday today.

Bucca di Beppo has free spaghetti and meatballs for anyone with a birthday today

Deals for Everyone

Arby's is offering veggie sandwiches today, just to change things up a bit.

McDonald's has Leap Day specials, deals vary by store.

Krispy Kreme stores will sell a dozen glazed donuts for just $2.29 (Get it? 2/29) if you buy another dozen at the normal price.  That deal is available to everyone.

Urban Outfitters is marking down hundreds of clothing items to just $29.

Footlocker has15% off select items, today only.

The Cincinnati Observatory in Mt Lookout has a leap night today with free tours.

But hurry, these deals are one day only!

As always, don't waste your money.
