Quick Tropical Fruit Oatmeal
1 cup prepared oatmeal
1 (23.5 oz.) Jarred Tropical Fruit
Top prepared oatmeal with 1/2 cup drained tropical fruit. Garnish with chia seeds and almonds, if desired.
2 cups frozen DOLE® Mango Chunks, partially thawed
1/2 cup red bell pepper, finely chopped
1/4 cup green bell pepper, finely chopped
1 tbsp DOLE® Green Onion, chopped
2 tsp fresh cilantro, chopped
2 tsp jalapeno chiles, chopped
1 tsp grated lime peel
Combine mango chunks, bell peppers, onion, cilantro, chiles and lime peel in small bowl. Serve salsa at room temperature or slightly chilled. Serve salsa over grilled chicken breasts or fish fillets.
**Tip: Mango salsa can also be served as a dip with tortilla chips, spooned over quesadillas or tacos.
