Play resumes at Cincinnati Open after 'on-site power outage'

MASON, Ohio — Play has resumed at the Cincinnati Open after a brief stop due to an "on-site power outage," the tournament said on social media.

The Cincinnati Open said play would not begin before 6:30 p.m. after an outage. By 6:48 p.m., the tournament said it was back up and running.

Duke Energy's outage map does show that crews were dispatched to the Lindner Family Tennis Center area for an outage reported at 5:13 p.m. Monday. The website says the estimated time of full restoration is 10 p.m.
