CINCINNATI -- Heavy rain on Sunday led to road closures and problems for Tri-State drivers as well as flooding yards and driveways in counties in Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio.

Rain began in parts of the Tri-State on Saturday evening and continued through Sunday. Heavy rain and localized flooding is likely to continue through Monday.

The National Weather Service issued a flood advisory for most of the Tri-State until 8 p.m. (the advisory was extended several times).

Rainfall at Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport broke the date's previous record -- set in 1902 -- with two inches of measured rainfall.
