The 9 First Warning Weather Team continues to watch Sunday because snow is possible in the Tri-State!

What's coming:

An area of low pressure will come in from Colorado on Sunday. A shield of snow will spread over the Great Lakes region late Saturday night into Sunday morning, dropping several inches of snow well to our north. This will also bring in a chance for snow in our very northern counties in the morning hours, but it won't add up to much. Check out the picture below as it shows the better snow chance to our north:

Most snow will fall north of Cincinnati.

How much snow:

This is an early look at how much snow we could see on Sunday morning, so please keep in mind these numbers could change a bit. First, notice that this is mainly going to impact our very northern counties. Little to no snow should fall or accumulate in northern Kentucky. It's from Cincinnati and locations north of town where a dusting to 1/2 inch of snow could fall. This would be enough to make the road a little slick. In some places, just enough to track a cat!

Light snow possible in our northern counties on Sunday morning

If you are traveling to Columbus or Dayton on Sunday morning, watch out for snow. That's where we will see a better chance for snow to accumulate. The farther north you drive into Ohio, the better the chance that you'll encounter snow on the roads.
