Scattered storms will bring heavy rain and frequent lightning to areas of the Tri-State Wednesday. Winds may exceed 70 mph, and chances for flash flooding and hail are high. Tornadoes may be possible.
The Storm Prediction Center has upgraded the majority of the Tri-State to an "enhanced" risk of severe storms. A "moderate" risk has been applied to several counties north of the Ohio River, just north of Cincinnati.
