WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, Ohio — Two drivers died in a head-on crash near the intersection of US-22 and Clarksville Road Thursday afternoon, according to a news release from the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
According to OHSP, 40-year-old Hillsboro, Ohio man Christopher Holsinger had been traveling eastbound on US-22 when his vehicle crossed the center line and struck the 2004 Buick Lesabre driven by 78-year-old Nancy Barton of Clarksville, Ohio.
Both Holsinger and Barton were pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators said they did not believe drugs or alcohol had contributed to the collision.
