CINCINNATI -- Overnight shutdowns of southbound Interstate 75 are planned this week in Hamilton County for ongoing construction work.
Full southbound closures are planned at the Norwood Lateral, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation. The closures are scheduled to be from 11 p.m. until 5 the next morning each day, Wednesday through Friday.
A full closure earlier scheduled Tuesday night has been canceled, although transportation officials say two southbound lanes will close at 11 p.m. for the contractor's prep work.
Traffic will be detoured during the shutdowns to westbound I-275, then to eastbound I-74 and back to southbound I-75.
The Ohio Department of Transportation says message boards and signs will alert motorists.
Weather conditions can result in construction schedule changes.
