CINCINNATI -- A man died more than two months after he collided with a police cruiser, the Cincinnati Police Department said.
Tyrone Mack, 30, suffered life-threatening injuries in the crash. He died Sunday.
According to the police department, Mack was driving north on Central Parkway on Aug. 7 when he crossed the center line between the Western Hills Viaduct and Marshall Avenue.
Sgt. Charles White, 68, struck Mack's car with a marked Cincinnati Police Department SUV, police said said.
White suffered minor injuries, police said. He was treated at University of Cincinnati Medical Center and released.
Speed doesn't appear to be a factor, police said. It's unclear if Mack may have been on alcohol or drugs.
CPD's Traffic Unit is continuing its investigation. Any witnesses should call 513-352-2514.
