Ursuline volleyball coach Jeni Case won her 400th career match Saturday as the Lions defeated Notre Dame Academy (Ky).
Ursuline improved to 10-1 this season. The Lions next play at Mercy Sept. 20. Case will be recognized at Ursuline's home match against St. Ursula Sept. 27.
Case, who started coached at Ursuline in 2006, is one the state’s most successful coaches. She led the Lions to Division I state titles in 2009 and 2012. The team was state runner-up in 2008.
Case has also coached in the Greater Miami Conference when she coached at Lakota East. She was an all-city player for Seton and a state champion in 1986. Case was a three-time All-American at Thomas More College.
