Tired of being a Bengals fan? Try the Browns

Posted

CINCINNATI -- A lot of lifetime Bengals fans called it quits after this weekend's loss to the Steelers. One middle aged man that I'm friends with on Facebook (a friend's dad) even documented the burning of his collection of Bengals jerseys.

Ready to fill a void for fans in need of a generally disappointing franchise -- or maybe just dumb luck and good timing (not really likely, if you know Cleveland sports) -- "The Rizzo Show" produced an amazing video to advertise Browns season tickets.

I mean, really. It's miraculous. For example...

"If you like mystery, the Cleveland Browns are the team for you! We have no idea who our GM, head coach or quarterback will be."

"What a season this was. Not everything went as planned, but no one can deny that it was 16 games long!"

"Who know what (Johnny Football) will get into this season...but it will probably involve a hot tub and a handgun!"

Throughout the video, the words "paid advertisement" pop up on screen and in the script. Did the Browns really pay for this? Is it for real? I'm not sure. But I really hope so.

I laughed out loud a few times watching this. And not (necessarily) at the Browns' expense. I think it's pretty awesome that they can own up to the lame points of their season...i.e., take note, Bengals fans.

Here's the link to the YouTube video. You can watch it below:
