CINCINNATI — Hospital officials are hosting virtual hiring events for several open positions at Mercy Health Hospitals, including nursing, housekeeping and food services.

Mercy Health is hosting a virtual hiring event on Tuesday for recent graduates and experienced registered nurses for its hospital in Anderson.

Hospital officials are also having a virtual job fair on Tuesday for people who do not necessarily have experience working in health care; no high school diploma or GED required.

In addition to nursing jobs at the Anderson hospital, Mercy Health also has openings in housekeeping and food services at Anderson, Clermont, Fairfield, Monfort Heights and Kenwood.

Deanna Bischoff, supervisor of talent acquisition, said the goal of the virtual hiring events is to try to reach as many people as possible.

"Like any other health care system across the country, and even locally, we've been impacted by the community spread of COVID-19 … and so hosting these events are going to help fill some roles that are important in healthcare right now,” Bischoff said.

Bischoff said applicants should have their resume handy for the hiring fairs.

The virtual job fair for nursing roles runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday. Click here to register.

The virtual job fair for housekeeping and food services positions is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday. Click here to register.
