KETTERING, Ohio -- A Kettering police officer shot and killed a suspect Sunday evening, according to Kettering police.
The officer shot the suspect at about 6:50 p.m. near Bataan and Craig Drive, The Dayton Daily News reported.
Witnesses said the suspect was armed, but it is unclear if that information has been confirmed by police.
First responders transported the suspect to Miami Valley Hospital. The suspect died at the hospital, according to the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office.
