Drivers in Ohio are paying the price at the pump, according to a report from AAA.

The cost of gas in Ohio has increased 42 cents over the past month, making fuel prices in the state one of the highest in the nation.

Fuel supplies have declined in the Midwest over the past month and as a result, drivers in the region are paying some of the nation’s highest prices for fuel.

Ohio ties for the fifth spot with Michigan for the priciest fuel in the country according to AAA's data, just behind California, Hawaii, Alaska and Washington.
