WILLIAMSBURG, Ohio — Firefighter Austin Caldwell suffered life-threatening injuries in a motorcycle crash Wednesday morning.

Caldwell is a part-time firefighter with Fayetteville Fire and EMS, the Monroe Township Fire and EMS and the Pierce Township Fire Department.

Caldwell experienced serious trauma to his face and head.

To help with Caldwell’s medical expenses, Old Firehouse Brewery will hold a fundraiser on June 23 at 2 p.m., at 237 W. Main St. in Williamsburg.

The event will be beach themed and attendees are encouraged to wear swimsuits or Hawaiian shirts. There will be pay-to-play games such as: cornhole, darts and a silent auction.

People who are not able to attend the benefit may still contribute by stopping by the brewery during normal business hours or by mailing a contribution.
