HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The Barry Manilow scheduled for Thursday was canceled after the singer had complications related to emergency oral surgery.
Manilow had to undergo the surgery Monday, but had to return to Los Angeles due to unspecified complications, according to his publicists.
He had been scheduled to perform at the BB&T Arena in Highland Heights Thursday and in Nashville, Tennessee Friday.
Manilow’s publicists wrote that ticket holders should hold on to their current tickets, as they will be accepted on the rescheduled date. That date has not yet be decided.
It wasn’t immediately clear if Manilow would be able to attend the Grammy Awards Monday. He was nominated for an award for his album, “My Dream Duets.”
