Lawrenceburg man killed in one-car crash, sheriff says

WEST HARRISON, Ind. – A 35-year-old Lawrenceburg man was killed in a one-car crash after midnight Wednesday, according to the Dearborn County sheriff.

Matthew Schemer’s vehicle struck a utility pole in the 2700 block of Harrison-Brookville, a release said.

Deputies believe Schemer went off the roadway, overcorrected and lost control.

The investigation is ongoing.
