So, here’s a question few journalists would ever even imagine having to ask: Did the governor just tweet a poop pic?

At the risk of editorializing, it sure looks like poop. Maybe it’s old — no, ancient — discarded chewing gum. Maybe it’s an abandoned Junior Mint, the spearminty goodness squished right out of it. Maybe it’s just a weirdly shaped clump of mud.
But it really, really looks like poop.
Whatever it is, though, I’m not sure it’s as alarming as (1) Bevin himself doesn’t seem to know what it is because (2) the message accompanying it creates a bizarre comparison.
A “small sign of encouragement?”
I mean, I guess it vaguely resembles the general shape of a heart. I guess. But — whatever it is — it literally has been smushed into the pavement.
