CINCINNATI -- There's nothing like a stiff drink to help one appreciate the arts.
A new happy hour cocktail bar will open inside the lobby of the Cincinnati Contemporary Arts Center May 31.
Wellmann's Brands is opening M. Wellmann's -- named after co-owner Molly Wellmann -- in addition to the eatery Wellmann's Brands also runs in the CAC lobby, Bottle & Basket CAC.
The bar's menu will change with the art museum's installations. Here's how they put it: "M. Wellmann’s premiere cocktail menu boasts unique drink recipes that bring the artwork to life through libations."
A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for 6 p.m. May 31. It will feature "special guests" and free food from Bottle & Basket CAC.
The bar's regular hours will be Monday to Friday, 4 p.m. to TBA.
