LEBANON, Ohio -- A Warren County judge sentenced a Carlisle man to 28 years in prison last week for multiple sex crimes involving a child victim.
In April, the victim told a friend that Brian Thoma had been molesting her since September of 2015, according to an announcement from Warren County Prosecutor David Fornshell.
The sexual assaults had been going on weekly, according to officials.
The crime was then reported to a teacher and principal, who called police. Detectives arrested Thoma at his home, and he admitted to inappropriately touching the victim, according to officials.
Thoma, 42 pleaded guilty in October to eight counts of sexual battery and seven counts of gross sexual imposition.
