TAYLOR MILL, Ky. -- Ahead of another Powerball jackpot drawing -- this time for $1.5 billion -- a Northern Kentucky lottery ticket retailer will give away free Powerball tickets.
The free tickets, said to be a "thank you" from the Kentucky Lottery for record participation, will be given away at the Taylor Mill Remke Market on Old Taylors Mill Road Wednesday at 2 p.m.
The 1,500 tickets will be split amongst four Kentucky retailers, also including Kroger on Brownsboro Road in Louisville (10 a.m. giveaway), Kroger on Brannon Road in Nicholasville (2 p.m.) and the Kroger on Scottsville Road in Bowling Green (2 p.m.) in addition to the Taylor Mill store.
The tickets are valued at $2...or, potentially, a billion dollars.
Your odds for each ticket are 1 in 292.2 million regardless of how many other people play. If you buy more tickets, your odds increase, but your odds are still astronomical.
