KSP: IAN alert issued for missing Boone County 9-year-old girl

BOONE COUNTY, Ky. — First responders are searching for a missing 9-year-old girl in the Florence area Friday night, according to the Boone County Sheriff's Office.

Kentucky State Police (KSP) issued an IAN alert for Jenny Din just after 9 p.m. Friday.

According to the sheriff's office, the 9-year-old was last seen walking on Macintosh Lane in Florence toward Afton Drive around 5 p.m. Friday.

Police said she is described as Asian, 4 feet 4 inches, 53 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a blueish jacket described as "mint," police said, pink headphones and no shoes. Din has pierced ears and is non-verbal.

Anyone who locates Din is asked to contact the KSP at 859-428-1212 or call 911.
