MASON — Kings Island is giving back to the people who give to our communities every day.

Teachers, first responders and healthcare workers can earn free admission on select days as part of the park’s “Community Appreciation Days” in August.

Here’s how and when you can get free tickets:

Teachers (Aug. 2-4)

To celebrate back to school, educators, faculty and school staff can get free admission Aug. 2-4 with a valid school ID or a teaching license with valid photo ID.

First responders (Aug. 9-11)

Active fire, police and public safety personnel can enjoy free admission Aug. 9-11 with a valid fire or police photo ID.

Fire and police badges and identification cards are accepted only if accompanied by a photo ID. All IDs must reference specific fire or police duty, and government-only issued IDs will not be accepted.

This offer includes firefighters, EMTs, uniformed police officers, state troopers, border patrol agents, investigators, evidence technicians, firearms examiners, crime lab technicians, 911 dispatchers, correction officers, handwriting examiners, intelligence analysts and investigative assistants.

Healthcare professionals (Aug. 16-18)

Those who work in healthcare can qualify for free admission Aug. 16-18 with a valid medical ID card, medical license or certificate in conjunction with a state-issued photo ID.
