COVINGTON, Ky. -- Nearly 6,000 Duke Energy customers in lost power Thursday afternoon after balloons became tangled in a power line, according to spokeswoman Sally Thelen.
The outages were first reported around 3:40, according to Duke Energy’s official outage map. Power was restored by 5:30 p.m.
