CLERMONT COUNTY, Ohio — A man who was doing survey work on SR-125 near Withamsville is dead after he was hit by a driver Tuesday evening, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
OSHP said an early investigation determined the driver of a 2024 Tesla Model Y was heading east on SR-125 while 36-year-old Kevin Fuller, of Lafayette, Arkansas, was performing survey work in the two-way, left-turn lane.
The driver, later identified as 19-year-old Price Kalpesh Patel, then dragged Fuller after hitting him. Fuller was pronounced dead at the scene.
Patel was taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center with minor injuries, troopers said.
Court documents say Patel has a prior OVI arrest. The suspension for his OVI was set to start April 22.
He is currently charged with two counts of vehicular homicide. His bond was set at $500,000 cash.
