HILLSBORO, Ohio -- A male suspect in a shoplifting incident Friday also told police that he had stolen a car after he stabbed its owner to death in Columbus a few days ago, according to police.
The shoplifting incident occurred around 8:46 a.m. Friday on Harry Sauner Road. During the investigation, police say Nicholas Loulakis, 27, told them that he had stabbed someone to death a few days prior.
The Hillsboro Police Department contacted Columbus police with the address, and officers found one man dead.
Police said the vehicle was later located in the parking lot behind McDonald’s on North High Street.
