Funeral arrangements announced for Hamilton County Sheriff's deputy killed in crash with Metro bus

CINCINNATI — Funeral services for Hamilton County Sheriff’s Deputy Cpl. Adam McMillan will be held Saturday, Oct 31, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. the sheriff’s office released in a statement Tuesday afternoon.

A public visitation will be held on Friday, Oct., 30 from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Spring Grove Funeral Homes.

His body will be laid to rest at Arlington Memorial Gardens after the funeral service.

Cpl. McMillan died as a result of injuries he suffered after a crash involving a Metro bus on Beechmont Avenue on Oct 10. He was in the ICU at University Hospital for nearly two weeks before being taken off live support.

McMillan, 42, was a 19-year veteran of the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department. He is the third deputy to be killed in the line of duty since 1984.
