FAIRFIELD, Ohio -- A driver seriously injured a pedestrian early Wednesday morning, according to Fairfield police.
The driver hit the man at about 1:15 a.m. on Dixie Highway near St. Clair Avenue. A medical helicopter transported the man to a local hospital; he sustained serious injuries. The driver was not hurt.
