COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, Ohio — Two teenagers were shot in Colerain Township Friday evening, according to police.

Officers responded to the reported shooting at the 2400 block of Wilson Avenue just after 8 p.m. and found the two teens shot.

Colerain Township Police spokesperson Jim Love said shots were fired into a residence where the victims were struck.

Crews transported the victims to area hospitals, and they are expected to recover, according to Colerain Police.

Authorities have not released any information about the victims or possible suspects.

Friday's incident marks the third shooting involving teenagers in the Tri-State this week; on Tuesday, police said a 12-year-old was hospitalized after a shooting involving a 14-year-old in the West End; on Wednesday, a 17-year-old was found fatally shot in a Lockland home, and two teens face multiple charges related to that shooting, including a count of reckless homicide.
