CINCINNATI -- A house fire in Colerain Township has displaced four adults and 4 children, according to Colerain Township Fire Department.
The fire broke out around 3:20 p.m. Sunday in the 2600 block of Barthas Place. In a press release, the fire department said there was a delay in reporting the fire because of a “language barrier with the occupants.”
The Cincinnati Chapter of the American Red Cross is assisting the family with finding temporary housing.
Green Township Fire and EMS, Mt. Healthy Fire Department and North College Hill Fire Department assisted Colerain Township Fire Department in extinguishing the blaze.
An investigation is ongoing, and a preliminary loss estimate has been set at $ 75,000.
