Where you can get a free turkey today

CINCINNATI -- Several turkey giveaways will help people who need a little extra help feeding their families this Thanksgiving.

Molina Healthcare of Ohio and Bloc Ministries are giving out 200 turkeys from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Christ’s Community at 931 McPherson Avenue. Turkeys will be given out on a first come, first served basis. Volunteers will also serve a Thanksgiving lunch.

Kansas City Chiefs running back Spencer Ware is sponsoring a giveaway from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Winton Hills Recreation Center at 5170 Winneste Avenue. Ware went to Princeton High School in Sharonville.

People can pick up a holiday box, which includes a turkey, a bag of produce, canned vegetables, stuffing, gravy and macaroni and cheese, at the following locations:

Generations Church 

  • 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. 
  • 4161 Richardson Road, 41051, Independence, Kentucky 

North Dearborn Pantry

  • 2517 North Dearborn Road, 47060, West Harrison, Indiana
