CINCINNATI — Police are investigating and a community is outraged after more than 10 residents found their cars vandalized Thursday morning.
Most of the cars were vandalized with a single line of spray paint, but a few were tagged with some serious profanity:
Some in the neighborhood — specifically around the vicinity of Woodrow Avenue and Morningridge Drive — see it as just another part of a growing problem in the neighborhood.
But others, like Westwood resident Elaine Faison, said this is a frustrating first.
“I had white paint sprayed all over it from one end to another, which is going to cost me a couple thousand dollars to get the truck repainted,” she said. “It’s just hard seeing that and dealing and waking up in the morning with that, especially when you’re going to work.”
One neighbor said she and several others are considering forming a neighborhood watch group.
Meanwhile, police continue to investigate.
