CINCINNATI -- A Monday afternoon shooting near the intersection of Liberty and Linn streets sent three victims to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, some of them in critical condition.
According to Cincinnati Fire and Emergency Medical Services on Twitter, the shooting took place near Fire Station 29. No firefighters were involved, but "one to two" of the victims were thought to be critically injured.
Lt. Eric Franz said later in the evening all three had stabilized and were expected to survive. The suspect, who he said escaped the scene on foot, was still at large.
