CINCINNATI -- Prospective firework watchers aren’t the only people gearing up for the big bang Sunday night.

With half a million people packed on either side of the river’s banks, many local business, like Game Time Sports Bar downtown, have had to amp up their staff for the weekend.

Kyle Robbins, co-owner of Game Time Sports Bar, said the joint has doubled the amount of bartenders and cooks in order to accommodate the increased number of guests drawn in from Riverfest.

“Opening Day was one of the busiest days we had, and then Riverfest came and it was like, ‘Wow, we really seem super busy,’” Robbins said.
