CINCINNATI -- Lindsey Brown enjoys being mom to 11-month-old Olivia.
Now she's taking that experience and making "all things baby" her business. This summer, Brown became the Cincinnati contact for the baby goods rental company Babierge -- that's "baby" plus "concierge."
"If somebody needs their car seat and all their gear and they want me to meet them at the airport, I meet them as soon as they walk out of the gate," she said.
Babierge started in May last year with help from the co-founder of Match.com. They're now in more than 100 markets, including Cincinnati.
"I'm already seeing a pick up," Brown said. "It's getting busy as people start to plan their Thanksgiving and Christmas travel."
The service helps people traveling with a baby have everything they need when they reach their destination. Brown rents out everything from cribs to baby baths to toys and a collapsable high chair that comes with its own travel bag. All the baby gear is cleaned twice before each rental.
The idea is to lighten the load of traveling with a baby, and not worry about all the equipment.
"That's my job," Brown said.
