CINCINNATI — December is starting off with warmer temperatures, but it won’t be long before people in the Tri-State have to bundle up again.
Staff members at St. Vincent de Paul have 1,500 winter coats ready to give to those in need. The organization’s second winter coat distribution of the season is from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday at three locations:
- Carl H. Lindner YMCA, 1425 Linn St., West End
- Newport Primary School, 1102 York St., Newport
- John G. Carlisle School, 910 Holman Ave., Covington
Anyone in need of a coat can attend. Bring a form of ID for anyone receiving a coat, including children. Each person will receive one coat.
A third coat distribution is scheduled for Jan. 5 at three locations:
- St. Ursula Academy, East Walnut Hills
- Life Learning Center, Covington
- Cristo Rey Church, Florence
TriHealth will have a mobile mammography unit at the West End site on Saturday as well.
St. Vincent de Paul gave away more than 2,600 coats last year, a spokesperson said. Help keep people warm by donating a new or gently used coat. Find a donation location by clicking here.
